I started to see Stacy Rae on Sept 11, 2009. I was almost 49 years old. I knew that I wanted to be in better physical shape by the time I reached my 50th Birthday. Stacy Rae was excited for my decision. She made up a program which stretched me but was achievable.

Stacy Rae introduced me to her body-type weight training philosophy and educated me as to the specific goals for an ectomorph body type. Together we established a workout regime of 40% cardiovascular exercise and 60% resistance training. As weight is not an issue, my primary goal was to build more muscle mass and increase bone density which are consistent goals with the ectomorph [long and lean] body type.
When Stacy Rae was asked to film her specific workouts applicable to each body type for the “Take Five” health website . I was able to experience her creating specific workout regimes and exercises that would help each specific body type reach their individual goals. I observed, as I had personally experienced in my own workouts, Stacy Rae’s attention to detail and correct form, her constant support and encouragement of her clients, and her ultimate professionalism.
I have increasing respect for Stacy Rae’s vast knowledge and experience in the field personal training. Not only do I value her expertise as my personal trainer, I value and respect her as a person and as my friend. My work with Stacy Rae has improved my general well being, my bone density, and it definitively gives me the confidence to wear my new “skinny jeans”. Thank you Stacy Rae!
In February of 2025 I started looking for a personal trainer. I was ready to make some more changes in my life. Let me share with you that I had never been to a gym, or worked out in my entire life. I had been working with a nutritionist since fall of 2024, and wanted to take my health to the next level. I searched Facebook and found a lot of trainers. I found body builder type trainers with huge muscles, and meals plans. I also found 20 year old trainers, who I thought would have no clue what it feels like to be 50 plus years old women. I was really looking for someone like me. Preferably a women, and someone close to my age or older. When I was twenty years old I didn’t have the aches and pains that I do now, so how could a twenty year old trainer understand what Im going through. How would a man understand the changes a women goes through in her fifties? I knew a women trainer was the right fit for me.
Well, I got lucky and found Health N Fit with Stacy Rae! I messaged her and she was moving from California to Peoria, AZ and would be starting to train in March. She offered one on one training, group training, and virtual training. Since I had never worked out before I wanted/needed the one on one training.
I started training with Stacy March of 2025. I think I was her first client in Arizona. I started one on one training at her house twice a week. I had no idea what to expect. I was so awkward and uncoordinated, and Stacy was so gracious. She encouraged me and explained everything we did. She was right there next to me helping me with my form and to understand how to do the exercises. She was my cheerleader when I struggled with the last few reps and was tired, and also reminded me to slow down and perfect my form. From the start Stacy explained each muscle group we were working and the proper name of that muscle. She is very knowledgable and experienced. I appreciated that she tailored my work out to me. I have a bad knee, and have had surgery on my legs, and Stacy has made this less painful. She has incorporated stretching into my strength training, as that is what MY body needs. She also put together a work out plan for me to do at home on Fridays, and was available via text to answer questions when I forget what something was.
In May 2025 I started working out three days a week with Stacy at her home in Vistancia. I was learning so much from her that I wanted more! Her work outs are not the same old same old. Everyday it seems I learn something new. I appreciate this, as I would get so board doing the same routine every time. Over the last ninety days working out with Stacy I have gotten so much stronger. She continues to push me, and increase my weights and reps and try new exercises. She even has had me doing Yoga. I never expected that would be something I would be doing with her. She’s definitely experienced, and loves what she does. She encourages me to stretch and walk on the days I’m not with her. Although I’m not doing nutrition with her, she is always available to offer advice. If you have never worked out or if your advanced you will definitely benefit working out with Stacy.
